Banquet

A 4-day long team project where the goal was to identify and understand the user needs from a briefly described persona, organize them in order to create an application fulfilling the needs. The primary objective was to create Information Architecture by deriving ontology, taxonomy and choreography, followed by creating wireframes of the application. The application then was named Banquet!

To start our ontology we decided to make sense of our user needs. We ranked them priority in order to define the main goals of the app and focused on the top three. Along with the rank, we turned these goals into actionable items for an app that we wrote on post-it notes.

Mock ups!

This mock up was done in 3 hours. The objective was to collect further feedback from the potential users to see what is working and what is not. This exercise was also helpful to understand how to deal with all the information visually in order to keep a clean and intuitive design.
